Alan V. Parish, QC retires

With heavy hearts the lawyers and staff of Burchells LLP say farewell to our long-time colleague, mentor and friend, Alan V. Parish, QC.  Having announced his retirement a year and a half ago he's finally made good.  Alan has left the building.

By ceasing practice this month Alan winds-up a storied 38-year career during which he established himself as one of Atlantic Canada's most prominent trial lawyers.

Alan left his mark especially on complex commercial litigation, securities litigation and media and defamation law, but in each he passed along to his colleagues at Burchells LLP both his immense knowledge and high standards.  Burchells LLP partner David Hutt would be pleased to address any inquiries.  Congratulations Alan - don't be a stranger!
