Jonathan is a native of Montréal,
Québec. He attended Carleton University's Arthur Kroeger
College of Public Affairs where, in 2004, he received a Bachelor
of Public Affairs and Policy Management. Jonathan was employed
by various federal departments, agencies and crown corporations
in Ottawa before entering law school at Université
de Moncton, where he received his LL.B. in 2009.
During his time at
Université de Moncton's law school Jonathan served
as President of the Law Students' Society. He was also actively
involved in student advocacy, participating in the Laskin
and Sopinka national advocacy competitions and winning the
McKelvey Cup (2009).
Jonathan is a member
of the Canadian Bar Association and the Association des Juristes
d'Expression Française de la Nouvelle-Écosse. He was called to the Nova Scotia bar in June 2010. |
