Jason
was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2006. He graduated from
Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2005. Jason
had previously received a Bachelor of Arts from the University
of Regina . While at Dalhousie Law School , Jason served on
the International Linkages Committee as a student representative.
He also spent a term at Dalhousie Legal Aid Service and volunteered
with the Metro Immigrant Settlement Association under a Pro
Bono student placement.
Jason
completed his articles with Burchells LLP and is
currently an associate maintaining a general practice of law.
Before
law school, Jason spent several years teaching English as
a Foreign Language at the University of British Columbia,
St. Mary's University and overseas in Japan. A native of Edmonton
Alberta, Jason has also lived in British Columbia, Saskatchewan
and overseas in Japan before settling in Halifax.
In
his free time, Jason enjoys traveling, reading and curling
at the Mayflower Curling Club.
