Jason was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2006. He graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Laws in 2005. Jason had previously received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina . Before law school, Jason spent several years teaching English as a Foreign Language at the University of British Columbia, St. Mary's University and overseas in Japan.
Jason's practice focuses on civil litigation and administrative law. He has been involved in a wide range of litigation matters including commercial litigation disputes. Jason's practice in administrative law includes judicial review, transportation matters, expropriation, and human rights. He has appeared at all levels of court in Nova Scotia in addition to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board and Human Rights Board of Inquiry.
Currently, Jason is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Transport Lawyers Association. In his free time, Jason enjoys traveling, reading and curling at the Mayflower Curling Club.
