Denny Pickup is a native of Port Hawkesbury, Cape Breton. He attended Acadia University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration (2002) and Bachelor of Arts (2003). He received his Bachelor of Laws from l' Université de Moncton with a focus on French language rights in Nova Scotia (2006).
Practicing as a bilingual lawyer, Denny provides legal services to clients in both English and French.
Denny practices in the areas of corporate and commercial transactions, commercial and residential property, estate planning and administration, and adoptions. Denny also offers a broad range of legal services and legal advice to small business owners, professionals and entrepreneurs.
Denny also acts on behalf of businesses, lenders and borrowers to assist with disputes that arise out of credit transactions. Such disputes may relate to collections, guarantees, security assessments, realization and priority of claims and receivables management for businesses.
Denny is a member of l'Association des Juristes d'Expression Française de la Nouvelle Écosse, Association des Juristes d'Expression Française du Nouveau Brunswick, and the Canadian Bar Association.
