David Lewis is a native Haligonian. He left the province to attend Mount Allison University where he received his Bachelor of Commerce in 1995. He then attended the University of New Brunswick where he earned his Bachelor of Laws in 2003 before returning to Nova Scotia.
David's practice focuses primarily in the areas of residential property, wills and estates, as well as corporate and commercial law. He is an authorized lawyer with Property Online for the purpose of migrating real property under the Land Registration Act.
David recently served on the Nova Scotia Barrister Society's Real Estate Practice Standards Committee. He is a member of Real Estate Lawyers Association of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Barrister Society and the Canadian Barrister Society.
While at law school, David was the recipient of the Maurice Gautreau Prize for Constitutional Writing. He was also a member of UNBfs Orientation Committee, Peer Mentor Program and Poverty in Law Society. In his spare time, David enjoys golf and curling. He was also a volunteer with the Fredericton Community Soup Kitchen and the IWK Childrenfs Hospital Kermesse.
